Obverse: Portrait of the President with his name at the top periphery, and term details (number and years served) at the bottom.
Reverse: The statue of Liberty spans the design from lower right to upper left with a large "$1" in the right field. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA spans the periphery from 7-3 o'clock.
