As with the previous year, no relevant pattern records have come to the attention of the numismatic community. However, there are certain private restrikes from discarded dies that have been classified under the year 1805.
In 1805 at the Mint, production of regular denominations for circulation included the half cent, cent, half dime, dime, quarter dollar, half dollar, $2.50, and $5.
