Banknote Book & CPG® PRICE GUIDE

About This Series

The Greysheet Catalog (GSID) of the Banque de l’Algérie et de la Tunisie series of Algeria in the World Currency contains 22 distinct entries with CPG® values between $11.00 and $5,400.00.
On 16 December 1948, the name of the issuing bank officially changed from the Banque de l’Algérie to the Banque de l’Algérie et de la Tunisie (Bank of Algeria and Tunisia, BAT). The bank issued specific notes intended for use in each country, but in practice all the notes circulated in both countries (see Tunisia B301).
