The 1871 Proof Three Cent Nickel comes from a moderately low mintage of 960 coins, the majority of which are still in existence. This coin is common up to PR66, at which point it becomes scarce. There exists a slight, graduating premium for cameos with an increase in rarity and demand for deep cameos.
