The 1955-S Lincoln cent became among the last circulating coins bearing an S mintmark until the late 1960s. Despite this fact, the 1955-S Lincoln cent isn't a particularly scarce coin by any measure, at least not in the case of circulating or lower-end uncirculated examples. The 1955-S Lincoln cent is scarce in grades of MS67 and significantly rare at any level higher.
