Reverse Description
An eagle with wings fanned out surrounded by stars at its head. A wreath of leaves surrounds the eagle with the words E PLURIBUS UNUM, 1787 at the periphery. Importantly, the letters EB are stamped on the eagle's wing.
Book Reference
A total of six Punch on Wing Brasher doubloons have been identified, but only four are collectible today. Of the other two, one is impounded at the Smithsonian Institution and the second resides at the American Numismatic Society. Each known specimen weighs within 1% of 17 pennyweights and would have circulated at $15 in New York City during the mid-to-late 1780’s.

Reverse: The sun rising over a mountain and the sea, with the inscription BRASHER below, all surrounded by beads inside D NOVA D EBORACA D COLUMBIA D EXCELSIOR D
